Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Regent Tanah Laut (Tala), South Kalimantan, H Sukamta, Saturday (1/12), opened 2018 Tala Expo which was held from 1 to 5 December on the courtyard of Pertasi Kencana Stadium, Pelaihari.
The regent said Tala Expo is a means of integration of promotions and information on the success of the development, products, and superior services of the district.
Head of the Tanah Laut Cooperative and SME Trade Agency Rafiqi Effendi said the Tala Expo 2018 was attended by 47 local participants, namely 12 vertical agencies, two schools, 21 private companies, one participant from Bojonegoro, East Java, three banks, 70 MSMEs, and three participants from the South Kalimantan Provincial Government, namely the Education Agency, UPT (technical implementation unit of) Forestry, and the Lambung Mangkurat Museum Banjarbaru.
"In addition to the development exhibition, the Pasar Rakyat (People's Market) also held, which was opened from November 21, 2018, managed by the Uber Rezeki Association," said Regent H Sukamta.
The Pasar Rakyat is filled by 78 traders who occupied tents and 160 traders without tents. 80 percent of them are local traders. They are expected to be a part of the money circulation to be able to move the economy of the Bumi Tuntung Pandang (nickname of the district).
"Come come together, crowded to find out more about developments in Tanah Laut," said Regent.
