Solo, Central Java (Antaranews) - Stars of the under sixteen (U-16) national football team the twins Bagus Kahfi and Bagas Kahfa were the stars of the field
when they led Central Java to beat South Kalimantan 6-0 in the elimination of the Region III Student Sports Week (Popwil) at the Sriwedari Stadium Solo on
Thursday.


In the match Bagus contributed two goals, namely in the 12th minute through the penalty spot and in the 24th minute. While the other goals were scored by Aditya Jorry Guruh (8), Kakam Mizan (33), Saddam Emiruddin (46) and Irfan Jauhari (50).
   
At the soccer sport, host Central Java a group with South Kalimantan, DI Yogyakarta, Banten and Bali. In the next match, Friday, Central Java will face DI Yogyakarta.
   
After the match, Bagus confirmed he had never ambitious to become the top scorer, even though he was a national player. "All I think about is how I can focus on each match and bring the team to appear as a group winner," said Bagus.

Bagus also reminded that it is not easy to win in the next match because each team has different strengths with a fairly even player material.
    
Like Bagus, Central Java coach Ashadi also said each had ambitions to defeat Central Java, which was reinforced by the twin players.
     
"The presence of Bagas and Bagus is indeed pumping up the enthusiasm and the motivation of his colleagues, but opponents also have ambitions to defeat us," said Ashadi commenting on the twins who some time ago officially signed by the club U-19 Barito Putera.
     
Barito Putera manager H Hasnuryadi Sulaiman HB's in Banjarmasin last week officially introduced the two younger brothers and a friend Febrian to the supporters as the U-19 Barito Putera team.
   
"So we have officially stated that they joined the Barito Putera family," Hasnuryadi said.
     
The Region II and III Student Sports Week was officially opened on Thursday night (8/11), but has already competed in several branches, including basketball, badminton and soccer.

Popwil I is followed by six provinces, namely Bengkulu, DKI Jakarta, West Java, West Kalimantan, Lampung, and South Sumatra, while Popwil III is followed by
seven regions (Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, Banten, DIY Yogyakarta, Central Java).
 
There are eight branches contested, namely badminton, basketball, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, pencak silat, sepak takraw, and football.
