Banjarmasin, (Antaranews) - SiSeSa Boutique, whose Moslem wear has been showcased in Paris, now opens it outlet in Banjarmasin. The opening was done by the City's Family Welfare Movement (TP-PKK) Chairwoman Hj Siti Wasilah, Saturday.
"Banjarmasin is the fourth city after Jakarta, Surabaya, and Makkasar chosen by SiSeSa Boutique as a place to develop the syar'i Moslem fashion business," said SiSeSa Boutique's designer Merry Pramono here.
According to her, Banjarmasin is chosen because of the interest and demand of its citizens for SiSeSa products is quite promising. "One of the reasons for opening SiSeSa Boutique in Banjarmasin was because many of the buyers of SiSeSa products in Jakarta when asked were from Banjarmasin," she said.
She hoped, the opening of SiSeSa Boutique in Banjarmasin will make it easier for syar'i Moslem fashion products lovers here and around to shopping.
"Thank God, for the past few years SiSeSa has successfully presented its work at several domestic and foreign events, such as at the 2016 Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week, 2017 Jakarta Fashion Week, Indonesia Fashion Week from 2013 to 2018, Cosmopolitan and Modesty Singapore 2017," she pointed out.
In addition, she said, the Modanisa London Modest Fashion Week 2017 and as the first syar'i Moslem fashion from Indonesia at the Paris Fashion Week 2018.
The City's Family Welfare Movement Chairwoman Hj Siti Wasilah congratulated the opening of the SiSeSa Boutique in Banjarmasin.
"I hope that the existence of SiSeSa Boutique will strengthen the syiar of Islam and provide benefits to the umat," she hoped.
On that occasion, she also requested that SiSeSa Moslem fashion products be combined with local products, namely sasirangan fabric.
