Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - A total of 16 containers prepared to carry humanitarian aid from The 101 Antasari Military Command (Korem) and the ranks were sent to Palu, Central Sulawesi, by sea, Friday (10/26).

"The departure of the Ambon Meratus ship was symbolically planned to be released by Governor H Sahbirin Noor and 101 Antasari Military Commander (Danrem) Colonel Arm Syaiful Rahman," said the 1007-03 West Banjarmasin Rayon Military Commander (Danramil) Mayor Czi Tandra Wideru.

As the person in charge of the territorial area in the Trisakti Port Banjarmasin, Tandra checked all readiness to transport goods to the ship before departure.

At the behest of the 1007 Banjarmasin City Military Commander (Dandim) Lieutenant Colonel Inf Teguh Wiratama, Danramil coordinated with PT Meratus and Pelindo III to facilitate the delivery of the aid.

"Aside from the Indonesian Army in South Kalimantan, there are also a number of parties who provide assistance such as the Hasnur Group and the district and city governments. For that, we thank you for participating in contributing to our brothers in Central Sulawesi," said Tandra.

The collected assistance amounted to 9,986 Koli or 145,926 Kg, the majority consisted of rice, instant noodles, mineral water, instant milk, pampers, tarpaulins, blankets, and others for the needs of victims in evacuation after the earthquake and tsunami disaster.

Details of the assistance were from Korem 101 Antasari 43.000 Kg, Kodim 1007 Banjarmasin 32,697 Kg, Kodim 1001 Amuntai 32,026 Kg, Denpom II-VI Banjarmasin 120 Kg, Yonif 623 BWU 684 Kg, Kodim 1004 Kotabaru 14,056 Kg, Kodim 1009 Pelaihari 7,675 Kg, Kodim 1005 Marabahan 103 Kg, Kodim 1006 Martapura 3,305 Kg, Rindam VI Mulawarman 150 Kg, and Kodim 1006 Tanjung 11,810 Kg.
