Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Saudagar Nusantara or Archipelago Trade Union of Banjarmasin held a meeting with Mayor H Ibn Sina. At Lima Rasa Restaurant they discussed various things related to the development of entrepreneurship in the city.
"I want to know and work together with the archipelago merchants. In the vision and mission of the city we have several programs, such as river improvement, producing 2500 new entrepreneurs, then Banjarmasin as a smart city," he said, Monday (09/24).
He said again, the Saudagar Nusantara should exist in Banjarmasin. This is because in the historical record of big merchants (saudagar) in Indonesia only in three provinces where the people got the nickname saudagar, one of them was a Banjar big merchant.
"The existence of saudagar Banjar is in line with the vision and mission of Banjarmasin as the river city, the 2025 economic gateway. We benefit from the geographical location of this city which is close to Surabaya, and Banjarmasin Port was number 2 the densest in Indonesia," he said.
On the occasion, he also stated, his appreciation for the activities carried out by Saudagar Nusantara in Banjarmasin
