Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Commander of South Kalimantan Military Command (Danrem) 101 Antasari Colonel Inf Yudianto Putrajaya said he was disappointed and stated the law must be enforced by the secret issuance of illegal fertilizer in Pelindo's Warehouse B without the knowledge of the Korem.
"There are parties who are daring to send out or move fertilizers from their secured locations as illegal goods found by the Korem (Provincial Military Command)," said Danrem, Wednesday.
Because the confiscation of 6,500 tons of illegal fertilizers from China that entered South Kalimantan illegally was the realm of the Ministry of Agriculture, so he surrendered completely to the ministry to explore.
"Whoever plays later will surely be caught. Now it is still being explored by the Ministry of Agriculture. I have also reported it to the Commander of the Regional Military Command (Kodam) VI Mulawarman," he pointed out.
About the progress of investigations conducted by the Police, Putra admitted he did not know because the developments have never been conveyed to the Korem.
"The realm of investigation is certainly the Police. The surrender of the case from us is in the form of an official letter to be followed up by the Regional Police," he said.
While the Head of the Class I Port Authority (KSOP) Banjarmasin Bambang Gunawan stated it was not right to say that his party had the authority to permit the entry of goods (fertilizer) in the Pelindo warehouse.
"How come the Pelindo's warehouse become the authority of KSOP, it's not right," he said through a WhatsApp message received by Antaranews.
Previously Pelindo III Kalimantan Regional Property Deputy Mochamad Sholihin claimed he was not responsible for loading and unloading at the warehouse.
"Warehouse B is leased to an outside party, PT Aditya Jaya Mandiri. For loading and unloading activities until the ship left it is the authority of the Port Authority," he said on Tuesday (28/8) when he received the arrival of Head of Military Staff (Kasrem) 101 Antasari Lt. Col. Inf Rudi Namsyah.
The loss of some of the fertilizer in the Pelindo warehouse indeed made Danrem furious. Moreover, the name Danrem was painted until the fertilizer came out smoothly secretly without the knowledge of the Korem which secured it on 4 May 2018.
Based on the records of the Korem 101 / Antasari Intel Unit, there are 45,126 sacks or weighing 2,621 tons of fertilizer out of a total of 6,500 tons of fertilizer seized previously.
