Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Prof. Dr. H Sutarto Hadi hoped there will be follow-up of the visit of an Indonesian Embassy attache candidate for Education and Culture in The Hague to ULM.
"We are grateful for the visit of the candidate for the Education and Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in The Hague and hopes in the near future there will be follow-up of what has been discussed," Sutarto said on Monday.
According to him, ULM can take the opportunity to cooperate with the Embassy with various fields related to higher education.
"I sincerely hope there is a real cooperation that is interwoven, maybe in the field of learning, research, and community service, or exchange of students and lecturers, and scholarships from the Netherlands," he explained.
Earlier candidate for Education and Cultural Attaché of the Republic of Indonesia Embassy in The Hague Din Wahid PhD accompanied by Sub Facilitation Staff of Education and Culture and Indonesian Foreign School Affairs Ministry of Education and Culture visited ULM.
The officials from the two ministry came to Banjarmasin in order to develop foreign cooperation in education and culture between Indonesia government and the Netherlands.
They were greeted by Vice Rector III for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs Ir H Abrani Sulaiman accompanied by deans and vice deans from 11 faculties.
