Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A total of 2,300 Police personnel will be on alert at Ring 3 in securing the Haul (memorial service of the) Guru Sekumpul in Martapura, Banjar, which will be attended by President Joko Widodo.
"Security has been done since Thursday (22/3) by members of the Police and police BKO Banjar South Kalimantan," said South Kalimantan Police Chief Brigadier General Rachmat Mulyana, Saturday.
According to him, the officers who are on alert in Ring 3 are in accordance with the level of security arrangements applied for the arrival of President (RI 1).
While security against Ring 1 and Ring 2 conducted by Presidential Security Detail (Paspampres) and security from TNI commanded by the Kodam VI/Mulawarman and its staff from Korem 101/Antasari.
Police chief revealed, police officers will also focus more on securing the route of congregation (jamaah) arrival flow which is predicted to be congestion on the highway to downtown Martapura.
"The peak of the arrival of jamaah in prediction occurs from Sunday (25/3) morning until the afternoon before the peak of haul procession begins," he said.
