Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - A perpetrator of persecution gave himself to the police escorted by his family after the victim reported him to the North Banjarmasin Sector Police.
"The persecution occurred on Thursday (15/3) morning, then at night around 20:00 pm the perpetrator escorted by his family surrender to the police," Head of North Banjarmasin's Crime Detective Unit Iptu Abdullah said here on Saturday.
He said, the suspect HR (23) previously persecuted his victim, Robiansyah (23).
"The scene on Jalan Mutiara Raya, North Banjarmasin," he said.
The perpetrator with a sharp weapon tried to stab the victim in the stomach but was deflected by the victim using his left hand, thus affecting his little finger wounded.
As a result of the incident, the victim who suffered injuries on the little finger reported to North Banjarmasin Sector Police.
"The perpetrator himself immediately escaped after being intercepted by the witness, while his sharp weapon was thrown around the scene and not found when we were looking," Abdullah said.
As a result of his actions, the suspect is now detained in North Banjarmasin Sector Police station.
