Martapura, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The District Military Command (Kodim) 1006 Martapura, South Kalimantan, is ready to assist the community in building healthy toilets in every home.
"We are ready to deploy personnel to help people to make healthy toilets," said Commander of Kodim 1006 Martapura Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ghoffar N in Martapura on Saturday.
He said the TNI personnel's assistance was part of the Kodim's healthy toilet service program that is conducted simultaneously throughout Indonesia.
The TNI work service program is in line with the vision and mission of Banjar Regent Khalilurrahman who wants along the banks of the Martapura River free from floating latrines.
"In one side we help the community to have toilets inside their own homes, on the other hand, to help government programs that seek to preserve the environment," he said.
He explained that the TNI service program is a TNI leadership effort to realize the clean and healthy environment in order to improve the health and welfare of society.
"The program is a form of unity of the TNI with the people so that the personnel is deployed ready to help make healthy toilets from house to house," he said.
