Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan, National Zakat Board of Indonesia (Baznas) with the Majelis Ta'lim (Islamic recitation) Nurul Muhibbin conducting house rehabilitation of a resident of Bajuin Village on Thursday (8/3).
Vice Chairman II of local Baznas for Distribution and Utilization H Hasan Basri said this home rehab started from the initiative of the Chairman of the Majelis Ta'lim Nurul Muhibbin KH Uspia who happened to know the condition of Mijan house is very unfit for habitation.
"The condition of the house was then told to Baznas Tanah Laut," he said.
From that story, called him, Baznas went to Mijan's house who daily worked as a masseur.
"On Tuesday we sent wood for Mijan house building materials," he said.
House rehab, he explained, is included in one of the Baznas Tanah Laut program, the Tala Peduli program.
"The house rehabilitation is done in mutual assistance by the community of Bajuin," he said.
