Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Central Hulu Sungai (HST) Police Chief AKBP Sabana Atmojo asked his men to increase patrolling and come to guard mosques and ulama. 
"This is intended to bring police closer to the ulama while providing security and comfort in worship," said Sabana in Barabai, Tuesday. 
He said that people do not have to worry about the issue of false or hoax news about violence against scholars which recently circulated in social media. 
"The HST Resort Police guarantees the safety of the clerics and has instructed members to increase the intensity of the coming to guard of religious leaders," said police chief. 
Sabana also ensures will crack down on people who try to make trouble and disrupt the situation in his jurisdiction. 
"The situation of public security and order (kamtibmas) in HST is very conducive, so do not try disturbs the peace in this area," said middle officer alumnus of Akpol 1999. 
To get closer to the clerics and congregation, the HST police chief also diligently follows the religious assemblies in the local area. 
As seen on Monday (19/2) evening, the police chief and his ranks were present at the assembly of KH Muhammad Bakhiet or known as   
Guru Bakhiet, the Guardian of Nurul Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School in Kitun, Barabai Darat Sub-district.
