Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - University of Lambung Mangkurat (ULM) is partnering with the South Kalimantan Bureau of Antara News Agency for supporting it publication.
"Alhamdulillah we are very pleased to be working with Antara and hope in the future ULM can be more widely known nationally and internationally through the news that goes in Antara," said ULM Rector Prof. Dr. H. Sutarto Hadi, Tuesday.
According to Sutarto, actually the relationship between ULM and Antara has been going so well so far. Evident from the news from ULM is always exposed in the news agency. But in the future, the cooperation will be enhanced along with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
"So please all the academic community of ULM to publish its activities in Antara through PR of Rectorate," explained Sutarto.
Head of South Kalimantan Bureau Abdul Hakim Muhidin appreciated ULM's commitment to keeping the National News Agency (LKBN) Antara as a publication venue.
The man who is familiarly called Bang Hakim is sure to continue to support the progress of ULM with news products that are broadcast both through the portal https://kalsel.antaranews.com and https://www.antaranews.com or in the print or online mass media network (350 VSAT subscribers) in collaboration with Antara.
The Antara news are also occasionally published in the 'Indonesia Kini' newspaper from the result of a cooperation of Antara with the Ministry of Communications and Informatics, which is distributed throughout Indonesia.
Hakim added, Antara South Kalimantan one of the few bureau in Indonesia who already have English language news. So every ULM news can be translated into English, then it can be published to the international world for ULM to disseminate their information.
"Antara itself has an International Bureau in several countries and bilateral cooperation with foreign news agencies as well as multilateral cooperation with the Organization of the Asia Pacific News Agency (OANA)," said Hakim.
The signing of the MoU between ULM Rector and Head of South Kalimantan Bureau which took place in the Rector's office in Banjarmasin was also witnessed by Head of Cooperation and Public Relations of ULM Siti Aisyah and staffs.
