"If we compare with the results in 2016, it is almost no increase in production, because in 2016 with an area of 71 hectares capable of producing 276.9 tons," she said again.

According to her, it is because in 2017 many plants were affected by Anthrax disease, so many farmers failed to harvest Hiyung chili.

"Because of the high rainfall in recent months, many plants were attacked by Anthrax or Patek diseases, so many chilies were damaged," she said again.

In 2018, the productivity of chili which is famous for its spiciness 17 folds from other chili is expected to increase.

Hiyung chili farming is very helpful for the economy of Hiyung Village people who used to work only as a wood searcher for firewood and building materials.
