Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of the Banjarmasin Public Order Agency (Satpo-PP) Hermansyah expressed readiness to evict a number of houses, located in front and the side of the Sultan Suriansyah Hospital on Jalan RK Ilir, South Banjarmasin.

"If there is an order from the acquisition team, we are ready to dismantle," he said at the city council on Wednesday.

According to him, based on the information received, approximately 15 buildings are on that location, so far only two landowners agree to be released. The rest is still in the process of negotiation and some are objected to the compensation.

"It is the Settlement and Housing Agency who handles the acquisition, we just wait," he added.

Hermansyah said, his side is still waiting for the process whether it will be agreed upon the value of the compensation or instead it must go through a process of consignment system on the court.

"Once there is clarity, we will do execution in accordance with applicable provisions," he said.

It is targeting at the beginning of 2018 the acquisition and discharge of land can be done, considering that in 2019 the city's first owned hospital building will be used.

According to him, the land acquisition for road widening and access to the Sultan Suriansyah Hospital has been planned since 2015.

The city government, he said, already budgeted for compensation for residents. However, residents refused because its value was considered small.
