Kandangan, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - After a year of a fugitive, IF (33), a resident of Simpur Sub-district, South Hulu Sungai (HSS), South Kalimantan, finally caught by Simpur Police (Polsek) Officers.


HSS Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Rahmat Budi Handoko through Public Relation First Insp (Iptu) H Gandhi Ranu S in Kandangan, Monday (23/10), said IF is the most wanted list (DPO) in the case of persecution that resulted in his victim, Rendi Setiawan (26), injured.

"IF was arrested by members of Simpur Police without a fight, while watching the soccer game in the field of Tebing Tinggi Village, Simpur, Friday (20/10) afternoon," he said.

IF was arrested for his actions against Rendi Setiawan, a resident of Wasah Tengah Village, Simpur, in 2016, at Tambak road in the village.

IF, who bore malice, slashed a machete to the victim. The victim, who was sitting on a motorbike with his wife was fortunate to still manage to fend off the slash.

Upon the incident, the victim suffered five centimeters torn wound on the left hand, a torn wound on the middle finger of the left hand, a torn wound in the thumb and forefinger of the right hand.

IF who knew the victim was injured immediately fled, while the victim was immediately taken to the hospital for help.

"IF has been detained in HSS Police and will be subject to Article 351 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of abuse with a maximum threat of 5 years in prison," he said.
