Minister suprised LPG price soars in South Kalimantan

Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan 14/10 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Energy Resource Mineral (ESDM) Minister Ignasius Jonan was surprised to receive information that the subsidized 3-kg LPG price has soared in South Kalimantan.

"When I informed that the price of three kilograms LPG in South Kalimantan has now reached Rp34,000, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources was surprised," said Sukardi Rinakit, Special Staff of President Joko Widodo in Banjarmasin, Saturday afternoon.

"He (the Minister) will follow up the information," he continued showing his WhatsApp during a meeting with Head of Bureau of Antara News Agency Abdul Hakim Muhidin with of its reporters in Depot Sari Patin, Jalan Brigjen H Hasan Basry Banjarmasin.

According to him, the 3 kg LPG is for the poor and its price should not soar up to Rp34,000, especially in the base must be in accordance with the provisions.

"Is there any deviation or a game, then seems like scarcity takes place and the price soars, even though the sale report from Pertamina said it smoothly distributed," he said accompanied by special staff team.

According to him, to avoid the possibility of a game in the distribution and the price of 3-kg LPG, may need to apply the card system just like the Family Hope cardholder (PKH) of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The arrival of special staff to South Kalimantan was to exchange opinions and information for the policy or the upcoming program of the government.
