Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalimantan Police Chief Brigadier General Rachmat Mulyana will reward a person who recorded and uploaded a video of police allegedly doing illegal levies.

"Police chief will give rewards for the courage of the citizen who recorded the action that is not commendable done by the unscrupulous from Central Hulu Sungai Police," said Head of Public Relations of South Kalimantan Police, Mochamad Rifai in Banjarmasin on Saturday.

The Chief of Police is scheduled to hold a press conference on Monday (21/8) as well as to thanks the resident who is known to work as a truck driver.

The video he recorded was then spreading in the social media and made the police chief angry.

He immediately ordered the Police Internal Affairs Division (Propam) to arrest the unscrupulous who are serving in South Labuan Amas Sector Police identified as  Adj. First Insp (Aiptu) MM and Chief Brig (Bripka) DB, as well as to establish a Code of Ethics Commission to process the sanctions will be imposed.

For Brigadier General Rachmat Mulyana, the event is expected to be a thorough evaluation of his staff that similar acts no longer repeated.

While to the community, he asked not to hesitate to record or report any actions of his subordinates who violate provisions to Provost.

"Now everything is open and we will not protect much less defend the members who tarnish the good name of the Police institution," he affirmed.
