Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) said the former Speaker of the South Kalimantan Legislative Council(DPRD) Noormiliyani AS should return Rp106 million of excess budget of official travel.

"As it is state money, yes must be returned all the value of the excess," said Assistant Special Crimes (Aspidsus) of Prosecutor's Office Munaji SH in Banjarmasin, Wednesday.

He said the request for refund had been filed by prosecutors to Noormiliyani when she underwent an examination in Kejati on Wednesday afternoon.

"Anyway, the value of the payout received by the members of the council and all parties receiving the official travel budget must be returned to the state treasury, including Rp300 million from one person who has not returned," said Aspidsus.

According to Munaji, Kejati is focused on examining the budget difference from the difference in interpretation of the position of DPRD members for the cost of official travel. In the governor's decree (pergub) they were put into echelon 1, whereas according to the circular of Home Affairs the Minister into echelon 2.

"In the investigation we also found there were about 15 people who did not travel properly, starting from the journey replaced by others who are not eligible or not traveling but the funds were still taken," said Munaji.

Meanwhile, Noormiliyani who met AntaranewsKalsel after the examination admitted ready to return the excess of the budget received.

"I am representing my friends on the council declaring ready to return the state money if it is the rule, because we are only based on the Pergub during the official trip, so there is absolutely no intention," said Noormiliyani who is waiting to be sworn in as Barito Kuala elected regent as a result of 2017 regional election.
