HSS police thwarts 10 thousand Zenith circulation

Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 9/6 (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Hulu Sungai (HSS) police in South Kalimantan has thwarted the circulation of 10 thousand Zenith of Carnophen brand from the perpetrator MU (41), who was arrested at his home.

HSS Police Chief Adj.Sr.Comr.(AKBP) Rahmat Budi Handoko through Head of Operation Comr (Kompol) Heri Munanto in Kandangan, Friday, said the success to thwart Zenith circulation was thanks to information from society and the results of investigations in the field.

The perpetrator was arrested by a joint team of HSS police led by chief intelligence Adjunct Commissioner (AKP) Agus Wibowo right in his home yard on Jalan Pegangsaan, Gambah Dalam Village.

"The perpetrator was caught without resistance after unloading the Carnophen he bought from Banjarmasin by using a rental car," he said.

He said 10,000 Carnophen was laid in the bush behind the perpetrator's home. The drug is scheduled to be circulated in Kandangan District.

Head of Operation also said the perpetrator included in the category of dealer as he was secured with enough evidence, which was 10,000 pills wrapped in cardboard.

"We are very grateful for many generations of survivors who are saved, because the illegal drugs failed to circulate," said the number three in the South Hulu Sungai police.

Meanwhile, MU admitted he has been doing the illegal business for one year. Each box bought at Rp175 thousand and sold at Rp223 thousand.

"This medicine is sometimes delivered by courier and sometimes I take my self directly to Banjarmasin," he said in the case exposing at the police office.
