Banjarbaru 2017 top BUMD builder

Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan 24/5 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarbaru City Government in South Kalimantan province won the national level of Top BUMD builder in 2017 for it performance considered successfully built a local government owned company.

Mayor of Banjarbaru Nadjmi Adhani here on Wednesday said he is proud of the national level award that has been awarded for the city.

"We are proud to be honored and proud of the taps company PDAM Intan Banjar that was awarded for it performance and contribution to the region," he said.

He expected performance and service of the taps company is getting better and the service coverage become wider, so many more people get the basic right of clean water.

"The performance of the whole range of PDAM Intan Banjar is good, but it is expected to be further improved, including to provide the best service to all customers," he said.

Head of Banjarbaru Public Relations and Protocol Ahmad Syarif Nizami added the national award was received by Mayor Nadjmi Adhani at Balai Kartini, Jakarta.

"The award was received by the mayor who was invited to Jakarta by the organizer of a national magazine in cooperation with the Asia Business Research Center and several consulting agencies," he said.

The award was given to the head of region because he was considered to have succeeded in fostering BUMD, namely PDAM Intan Banjar which part of its capital is assisted by capital participation system.
