Batulicin, South Kalimantan 17/5 (AntaranewsKalsel) -  Bamega ferry to open the Sebuku-Pulaulaut island cruise in Kotabaru district until now can not be operated.

"The Bamega ferry, which was originally managed the Batulicin Branch of Indonesia Ferry, River, Lake and Sea Crossing Transportation Agency (PT ASDP) on the orders of Transportation Ministry can not be felt by the public because it can not be operated yet," said Head of Batulicin Branch of ASDP Daniel here Wednesday.

He said, there are some obstacles related to the operation of the vessel, among which the regent of Kotabaru has not determined fares for passenger.

In addition, ASDP also has not received a letter of approval of lease rights of port owned by PT Sebuku Iron Leritic Ories (SILO) which has been submitted several months ago. And there is no stipulation of rules or permits to be signed by the Ministry of Transportation.

According to him, ASDP is ready to operate Bamega vessel under ASDP management, but is still awaiting some rules from ministry, Kotabaru government, and company who owns port.

Actually, he said the more role as stakeholders is Kotabaru District Government, because the presence of Bamega is at the request of the local government to the Ministry of Transportation to open the Pulaulaut-Sebuku Island crossing.
