Tanjung, South Kalimantan 12/4 (AntaranewsKalsel) - PT Conch South Kalimantan operating in Saradang Village, Tabalong, is reducing production from 3,200 tons to 2,500 tons per day due to constrained distribution.

Representative of PT Conch Yandri in Tanjung was speaking on Wednesday following the act of its distributor who claims cement transportation has been beyond capacity and causes protests from citizens of Tabalong and Balangan.

"The issue of transportation is the responsibility of distributors and we have warned them to transport in accordance with provisions," said Yandri.

Accordingto him, each distributor has different targets for transporting cement, while the factory can not market its own products means having to go through a third party.

The impact of reduction in the production, PT Conch cement processing engine speed is slowing, whereas Chinese company target the production of up to 7,000 tonnes per day by operate its two engines.

Related to issues that Cement transport impact on the provincial road damage in Tabalong and other districts, Yandri acknowledged, because of transport capacity exceeded the provisions.

"We hope there is no obstacle in the distribution of cement in view of the presence of Conch cement in Tabalong particularly, and Kalimantan in general, very helpful because the price is cheaper than other cement," explained Yandri.

Meanwhile the raid to cement transportation in Tabalong continuously activated, even Regent Tabalong Anang Syakhfiani directly came into the field in order to curb the distributor that transports exceeding tonnage.

Currently the distributor began using a smaller car transportation such as trucks Fuso to avoid the protests of citizens.
