Religious Minister inaugurates haj building embarkation Banjarmasin

Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan 10/4 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Minister of Religious Affairs Lukman Hakim Saifuddin inaugurated a new building on Hajj Embarkation Banjarmasin in Banjarbaru, Monday.

The new building named Jabal Rahmah is as accommodation for haj pilgrims of embarkation Banjarmasin claimed with three-star hotel standard. It worth Rp61 billion more on the project in 2016.

Lukman Hakim said the revitalization of haj pilgrim hostel is sourced from the State Shariah Securities (SBSN) in 2016 to improve services for pilgrims in South Kalimantan.

According to him, since 2014 the Ministry of Religion continues to make improvements of pilgrim hostel facilities throughout embarkation in Indonesia. In 2017, the fund provided is Rp400 billion more.

"The improvement of haj pilgrim hostel is very important we did, because they are as the last place of preparation for prospective haj pilgrims in the homeland to implement a long trip of haj," Lukman explained.

He said haj candidates should receive maximum service, because it is their right. Ministry of Religious Affairs as a trusted institution to manage national haj pilgrimage should be able to make it happen.

Lukman said, since 2014 and 2015 haj service satisfaction survey reached 82.7 points, then in 2016 increased to 83.83 points.
