Dandim Kotabaru leads corn planting

Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalimantan) - District Military (Kodim) 1004 Kotabaru Commander Lt. Col. Arh Samujio leading the corn planting in the village of Sungup Kanan, Central Pulaulaut Sub-district.

"Fertilization is done during land preparation by mixing the compost from the combustion of palm shells from palm oil mills," said Samujio.

Subsequently spraying liquid fertilizer. Spraying will be done again after 51-day-old corn by using non-organic fertilizer, such as urea and NPK.

Deputy chief  of the district military Major Inf Yudi Atmar added fertilizer made to accelerate the growth process of corn seeds, this is done manually using a wheelbarrow (artko) also rotary.
