Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 15/3 (AntaranewsKalsel) - The South Kalimantan National Land Agency (BPN) is targeting to issue 50 thousand free certificate of land ownership in 13 districts and cities in the province this year.


Head of BPN here Yuniar Hikmat Ginanjar through the Head of Measurement Survey and Mapping Maulana Arbani in Banjarmasin on Wednesday said the issuance of 50 thousand free certificate is targeted for completion in November 2017.

This is a National Agrarian Operations Project (Prona) by the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning and the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) on the orders of President Joko Widodo.

"If in the national it is targeted 5 million free certificates to be issued," said Maulana.

Prona certificate to be issued in South Kalimantan, he said, is not the same in amount per district and city. It is dominated by provincial capital of Banjarmasin.

"In Banjarmasin 30 thousand free certificate targeted to be issued, it takes over 50 percent of the province's portions of target," he said.

According to Maulana, the program has actually been started, even thousands of Prona certificates have been submitted to the land owners in South Kalimantan.

He hopes the public is not fooled by unscrupulous extortion, because Prona certificate is totally free of charge.

Earlier, Head of BPN Banjarmasin Abdul Manan revealed the Prona certificates predominantly by old owners who only have segel (a self-made statement acknowledged by local sub-district head).

He said Prona program is free, but different from tax on acquisition of land and building (BPHTB) if worth more than Rp60 million has a right to pay.

Abdul Manan said the BPN here has issued 114 Prona certificates for the Urban Village of Pekapuran Raya in March.

"Gradually we will submit this Prona certificates in other urban villages. There are 52 urban villages in this city with our target for 30 thousand of land," he said.
