The government of Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST) District, South Kalimantan, stated that the government agency performance accountability system (SAKIP) award its received from the State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry (KemenPAN-RB) was proof of development commitment.

PAN-RB Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas handed over the SAKIP award to acting Regent of HST Faried Fakhmansyah and a number of other regional heads at the SAKIP Award 2024 event in Jakarta, Wednesday (Oct 2, 2024).

“Alhamdulillah, HST government receives a very good grade (BB). HST has succeeded in improving SAKIP from grade B to BB, this is the results of hard work of parties who have consistently improving government performance in various sectors to encourage development acceleration,” said acting HST Regent Faried Fakhmansyah in a statement in Barabai, capital of Hulu Sungai Tengah, Wednesday.

He said HST government should be proud for the increase in SAKIP grade and should become a motivation and commitment for all regional apparatus in improving performance and services to the public.

“This achievement will have an impact on community welfare, the more services improve the more prosperous the community will be,” said Faried.

Faried asked the regional officials not to be quickly satisfied with this award, but must continue to show the best performance to the community through excellent services to encourage accelerated development in the region.

When receiving the award, the acting Regent of HST was accompanied by HST Regional Secretary Muhammad Yani, Assistant for General Administration, Regional Inspector, and head of related government agencies.
