Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Notification of Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI)'s fatwa in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, was running safe, orderly and conducive.


"Notification of MUI's Fatwa on Thursday morning running safe and orderly," said police chief Kombes Pol Anjar Wicaksana Sik here, Thursday.

He said the activities carried out by the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) South Kalimantan.

The MUI's Fatwa regarding the use of attributes of Christmas to muslim employee in shopping center, minimarket and hotels. In a fatwa No. 56/2016, MUI declared haram (illegitimate) to use of non-Muslim religious attributes.

Related to the fatwa, FPI here making appeal in front of stores or mall and was well received by the managers of stores and mall.

FPI deploying as many as 23 members and all went smoothly and conducive, no problems whatsoever in the field until the activity ended.

"Internal security situation in the Banjarmasin remains safe and conducive , and socialization of Fatwa run smoothly no problems whatsoever in the field," said the middle-ranking officers graduated from the Police Academy class of 1993.
