Tanjung, South Kalimantan 29/11 (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Tabalong, South Kalimantan, administration dismantled tens of stalls and illegal buildings on land owned by the local government and PT Pertamina EP Asset V TanjungField.


The demolition around Tugu Tanjung Puri Monument, according to Mabuun Urban Village head Mahliani, ran smoothly, involving dozens of members of Public Order Agency (Satpol PP).

"Today is the first phase demolition with the target stalls as the efforts to organize the town cleaner and does not appear dirty," said Mahlian in Tanjung, Tuesday.

The first day of eviction was done in neighboring unit (RT) 3 and RT 6, which are on the right and left side of the Tugu Tanjung Puri Monument.

As many as 30 buildings and stalls were targeted following the plan to construct green open space (RTH) in this area.

As many as 30 members of the Satpol PP assisted by stall and building owners doing dismantling witnessed by team members, including from the Tabalong police, Kodim 1008/Tanjung and PT Pertamina EP Asset V Tanjung Field.

One of the stall owner, Anna, said since receiving a warning letter from the government, she already emptied her stall and just resigned.

"We admit the land belong to Pertamina, that's why when we get a warning letter we have been emptied the stall," explained Anna.
