The Immigration Office of Batulicin in Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan Province, has launched eight innovation programs to provide easiness in passport handling for the public. 

"We launch the eight innovative public services to increase accessibility and efficiency in passport service for the public," said Head of Batulicin Immigration Office I Gusti Bagus M. Ibrahim here on Friday.

One of the eight is "Micin Darurat Mempermudah" (Emergency Micin Makes it Easier) to help an applicant who need passport for overseas medication, but he cannot come to the immigration for the reason of health. Here, the applican can have a passport without going out to the office. Related information can be accessed via Whatsapp at 08118889224.

The second is Micin Senja (Late Afternoon Micin) providing passport service after hours. This is for people with too busy work schedules. Service available on Tuesday and Thursday 16.00-18.00 WITA.

Micin Bersahabat (Friendly Micin) or the third providing service during break times from Monday to Thursday from 12.00 to 13.00 WITA, and on Friday. This innovation is to make it easier for employees who only have time for applying for passport during work breaks.

In Micin Kompas (Compass Micin) program, the office provides compensation in the form of mug or passport delivery if an applicant experiences a delay for more than three days. This is to overcome incovenience caused by technical problems that hinder passport processing.

Micin Pra BAP adopts information technology to apply for lost or damaged passport online, reducing bureaucracy and time required. This service can be accessed via SIPOLIK on WhatsApp 08118889224.

SIPOLIK is WhatsApp Gateway-based automatic answering system provides immigration information anytime anywhere to reduce direct visit and providing information about procedures, costs, and quick service requirements.

Micin Pos or Post Micin is the Immigration in collaboration with Pos Indonesia providing passport delivery to the applicant's home address. This also to provide practical and efficient solution for busy people.

Eazy Passport is providing passport service outside the office using a mobile service car, especially aimed to serve people in Kotabaru Island.

With two services per month, this innovation reduces the need for people traveling to the Batulicin Immigration Office. Information related to service time can be accessed via Instagram @imigrasibatulicin.
