The State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) for Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, distributed the 2024 Idul Fitri holiday bonus (THR) amounting Rp13.63 billion for State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and non-ASN.
"THR allowance is given to 2,702 ASN and non-ASN in 31 vertical agencies of central government and regional government, retirees and allowance recipients in Kotabaru and Tanah Bumbu," said acting Head of the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) for Kotabaru Muhammad Falih Ariyanto in Batulicin, Tuesday.
He expounded that KPPN is tasked with distributing THR allowance for central and regional ASN and non-ASN through the local Regional Financial and Asset Management Board (BPKAD).
THR is paid within ten days before Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah.
The 2024 THR component is different from the previous year by taking into account the pandemic that has ended, so the country's economic and financial conditions are increasingly stable and getting better.
"The government has decided to add a THR component in the form of a performance allowance to reach 100 percent from reviously only 50 percent," said Falih.
The local BPKAD distributed THR of Rp19.12 billion for 3,856 ASN and non-ASN within the Kotabaru District Government and Rp21.75 billion for 4,510 ASN and non-ASN of Tanah Bumbu regional government.
The government provided THR to maintain the society's purchasing power, especially spending on state apparatus, retirees, and people who receive allowance are expected to contribute to increasing national and regional economic growth through public consumption.
