Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian has appointed Hamida Munawarah (currently Tabalong Regional Secretary ) as Acting Regent of Tabalong following the end of office of Anang Syakhfiani (previous Regent) on March 17, 2024.
The appointment is stated in the Home Affairs Minister's Decree No. 100.2.1.3-642 of 2024 which was stipulated On Febuary 29, 2024.
"The inauguration of acting regent awaits the invitation from Home Affairs Minister through the Governor of South Kalimantan," said Head of the Tabalong Civil Service and Human Resources Development (BKPSDM) Erwan Mardani here on Monday.

A copy of the decree is only given to chairman of Tabalong DPRD and Head of the State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) of Tanjung and the Governor.
Meanwhile, Head of Tanjung KPPN Sigid Mulyadi acknowledged that he had not yet received the copy of the decree.
In this decree, acting regent is not allowed to place or transfer officials or employees, canceling permits issued by previous offical, and/or issuing permits that are different from those issued by the previous official.
Including making policies that are different from the development programs of the previous official.
Hamida Munawarah was inaugurated as Tabalong Regional Secretary on February 1, 2023 by Regent Anang Syakhfiani to replace Abdul Muthalib Sangadji, who retired as of January 31, 2023.
