Banjarmasin (South Kalimantan Antaranews) - A joint team of Batumandi criminal police, Lampihong police and Balangan's Jatanras (crime and violence) police arrested a perpetrator of sexual abuse against underage.
"We caught him because of his actions molested a minor till she got pregnant," said Executive Technical Head of Balangan Criminal Police AKP Dany Sulistiono SE on Thursday.
He said the perpetrator SR alias Ruh alias A (27), a farmer, was arrested by a joint team on Tuesday (18/10) night around 22:00 pm at his home in Lampihong, Balangan.
"The perpetrator was a friend of the victim's brother, and the results of medical examination of victim was about six months pregnant," he said.
Dany continued to say, the victim also was brought by the actor to his parents' home in Central Kalimantan. There the victim was sexually abused several times by the perpetrator.
"We also have to secure the evidence of which the results of the examination using tespek with positive results from the pregnant and a doctor statement," said the young officer.
SR currently secured in Batumandi police office to undergo further examination, because of the report of the victim's parents go to the police station.
SR has been named as a suspect and charged under Article 81 jo 82 Law Decree No. 35 of 2014 regarding Child Protection.
