Bandung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalimantan representative in men multiple individuals table tennis contributed a bronze medal at the National Sports Week (PON) XIX 2016 in West Java.
It was because the South Kalimantan mainstay athletes Donal Jach and Gilang Ramadhan were halted by men doubles from West Java Julius and Ardhan with the score 2-3 in GOR ITB Jatinangor, Bandung, Monday.
This is the first medal from table tennis for South Kalimantan contingent, so the joy was expressed by coaching staff and the entire board of Table Tennis Association of Indonesia (PTMSI) South Kalimantan.
"Alhamdulillah we are able to donate a medal for South Kalimantan," said table tennis coach Haryono.
He said there is still opportunity to add a medal. The reason is, there are other games will be faced by South Kalimantan table tennis players.
Two medals optimistic can be achieved in number individuals by Gilang and Donal Jack in the game, on Tuesday (27/9).
