The City Government of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, has begun operating the Baiman Public Service Mall (MPP) which accomodates 17 agencies to provide services to the public.
Banjarmasin H Ibnu Sina together with Deputy Mayor H Arifin Noor and the Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) carried out soft opening for the operation of the MPP, which is on the ground floor of Mitra Plaza Banjarmasin, Thursday.
The Mayor hopes, with this MPP, people can derive direct benefits of public services that are fast, easy, and accessible.
"Because (here) under one roof there are 17 service agencies from the city government and other institutions," he said.
MPP, he acknowledged, has been the priority of the Banjarmasin City Government since 2019 as it was instructed by the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry (Kemenpan-RB).
In addition, the Governor of South Kalimantan and Banjarmasin Mayor had signed a deed of agreement before the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Minister at that time, to realize the public service mall.
With the presence of MPP, he hopes that residents will receive speed, convinient, comfort, secure and wide range coverage services.
"Banjarmasin is a city of trade and services, so we have to provide the best service to residents and anyone who wants to do business," he said.
The slogan he emphasized to all agencies, if you can speed it up don't slow it, if you can make it easier don't make it difficult, and if you can do it today don't delay it tomorrow.

Head of Banjarmasin City Investment and One Stop Integrated Service Office Ari Yani said that 17 government institutions, both vertical and horizontal, joined the MPP.
"Of all available agencies, there will be about 150 services that can be accessed by the public," he said.
Operation hours from Monday to Friday. "Operational hours are from 08.30 to 13.00 Monday to Thursday. Especially Friday from 08.30 to 11.00," he said.
Public services available, in addition to Banjarmasin City Government, are police services, court, Religious Affairs Ministry, Samsat, BPJS kesehatan (health insurer) and BPJS Employment, banking.
