Chairman of Kotabaru DPRD, South Kalimantan, Syairi Mukhlis commended the 116th TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) program in 2023 in two villages, Plajau Baru and Panci, Kelumpang Hilir Sub-district, Kotabaru.

"This program is accelerating development and facilitating the community's economy," said Syairi Mukhlis in Kotabaru, Thursday (June 8, 2023).

According to him, TMMD activities can improve people's welfare through opening access roads that makes it easier for residents to transport their plantation and agricultural products every day.

Not only agriulture, but access to education has also become open, so that children can go to school in good road.

"We give our high appreciation to the Commander and the ranks of the 1004 Kotabaru Military Command for carrying out this activity in timely manner," he pointed out.

He also gave a message to residents to maintain and care for the TMMD results so that the benefits can be enjoyed by the community in the long term to support the mobilization of all residents.

"The transport capacity must be adjusted to the condition of the road being built," he said.

Syairi hopes that activities like this to continue and can open access to infrastructure elsewhere, so that the community can enjoy it continuously and can improve the community's economy.
