Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The cement industry PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk held "Indocement Award 2016" with a total prize of Rp270 million.
"2016 is the fifth year of implementation of the biennial Indocement Award 2016," said CSR Manager of PT ITP Sahat Panggabean.
Indocement Award is an award given to contractors, developers, architects, academics, students and anyone researchers successfully demonstrated their best performance, work, innovation and creativity in the world of construction in Indonesia.
The registration period ends in August, and the final presentation will be held from October to November, said Sahat who was accompanied by the Operational Manager of PT ITP Plan Tarjun Tantowi Jauhari in Kotabaru, Saturday.
In this year's competition, he added, there are six categories competed, namely architectural design (general), writing competition (general), Indocement Development Awards (developer), Indocement Contractor Awards (contractor), Fabricated House Competition (students/universities) and Concrete Competition (not open to the public).
He explained that the announcement of the winners and awarding will be held on November 11, 2016 to coincide with the 3rd Indonesian Building Day.
In addition, Indocement also held a first scientific study of biodiversity competition in Indonesia which was held simultaneously in over 20 countries that are "Heidelberg Cement Group".
Implementation of Quarry Life Awards (QLA) or scientific research of biodiversity by 2016 is the third implementation of internationally and second nationally.
