Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - One distributor of cement produced by PT Conch South Kalimantan, PT Hikmah and Rezeki (HR) was forced to halt conveyance.
It was a follow-up of Tabalong Government policy that Conch Cement distributor only uses a small fleet with a maximum capacity of 13 tons.
"Since June 16, 2016, ten cement transport trailer owned by PT HR can not operate due to the policy," said PT HR's PR Rully Ananda in Tanjung on Wednesday.
According to Rully, local governments should involve the cement distributors company before issuing the policy in order not to be unilateral decisions.
Although cement transport limited to a maximum of 13 tons, according to Rully, the fact that many other transport such as heavy equipment and so the larger capacity.
During this time PT HR's trailers carrying cement from the plant with a capacity of 36 tons, but widespread protests from the public and NGOs to transport activity that causes roads damage impacted discontinuation of distribution.
Previously Regent Anang Syakhfiani held a meeting with the management of PT Conch which essentially asked all distributors to use a small fleet with a maximum capacity of 13 tons.
