Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin Traffic Police ticketed 224 cars for violating parking rules in the city.


"Hundreds of cars we found were parking not in accordance with appropriate place," said Head of Traffic Police Kompol Tuschad Cipta Herdani Sik in Banjarmasin on Monday.

He said, all the ticketed cars parked on the body of the road and on the shoulder of the road and according to the rules they are not allowed.

The hundreds of cars were dealt with firmly by ticketing  mostly parked along Jalan Ahmad Yani.

"Do not false park along Jalan Ahmad Yani because the high road is the face of the city of Banjarmasin and the face of South Kalimantan," said the graduated from the Police Academy class of 2004.

Former chief of South Banjarmasin Sector Police also said the control will continue every day so that this city is free from congestion due to careless car driver parked haphazardly.

"We warn never parked haphazardly. Anyone who does not comply with the parking rules do not blame if traffic police directly ticket him," he said.

Mid-ranking officer who was called Tuschad continued to say, in addition to ticketing police also do not hesitate to tow cars that violate parking rules and the driver left the car at the time.

"The car we tow and ticket when the driver left the car immediately taken to the police headquarters," said the man who is familiar with the media crew.

Parking enforcement activities along Jalan Ahmad Yani regular take place from 09:00 am until 17:00 pm.
