Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Banjarmasin City Criminal Investigation Police along with East Banjarmasin Criminal Investigation Unit and assisted by South Kalimantan Mobile Detective Police are investigating the death of a teacher with a knife in the neck.
"We are still investigating the motive behind the death of a female teacher in her parents' house," said Banjarmasin City Police Chief KombesPol Drs Wahyono MH here on Friday.
He mentioned the chronology of events. On Friday (29/4) morning the victim, identified as Retno Ariandini (23), a female resident of Jalan Pramuka, Satelit Housing Complex, East Banjarmasin, set off for school.
At 11.00 am the victim returned home with her mother and sister. Then at about 14:00 pm, the victim's mother and sister out of the house, but could see three builders renovating the house.
"The victim left by her mother and sister in a state of sleep," said Wahyono who accompanied by the Head of Criminal Investigation unit AKP Arief Prasetya Sik and Chief East Banjarmasin Sector Police AKP Joseph Edward Sik.
At 15:30 pm, a builder named Udin heard a noise in the house, but did not dare go inside.
When the mother and sister of victims came, then Udin told if there was noise in the house. The victim's mother opened the door and look for the victim.
With a pale face, the victim's mother found her in the bedroom under the bed has been covered in blood with a knife stuck in the left neck.
"When found there was still a beat in her pulse, but on the way to the hospital the victim died," he said.
Banjarmasin City police chief said there were two witnesses who have been examined and testified, the two were builders renovating the house.
"One more builder are still in a search by the police because when the incident known to not present at the scene," he said.
Motives and modus of killing was not known and the knife used by the perpetrator is a kitchen knife, and is still lodged in the victim's neck when she was found by her mother and sister.
