Tanjung, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - After several months stalled, now the construction of a fruit market in the former clinic Umaiyah in Tanjung, Tabalong, South Kalimantan, will be continued this year using Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds from PT Adaro Indonesia.
Regent Tabalong Syakhfiani Anang said this in Tanjung on Thursday following the cessation of the construction of modern fruit market as it has not been budgeted in the 2016 district budget (APBD).
"We will maximize the CSR funds of PT Adaro Indonesia to complete the construction of a fruit market in the former clinic Umaiyah, despite the 2016 budget is not allocated a continuation of this project," he said.
For him, the development of the fruit market as well as a culinary center in Tanjung become a priority of local governments in order to regulate and accommodate traders who have been selling on sidewalks, city parks and main streets.
In addition to disturbing the peace road, where fruit vendors on the protocol roadside they also raise another problem against comfort and beauty of the town.
Head of the City Planning, Sanitation, and Market Management Rahmadi Amir also supports the local government plans to continue the development of the fruit market using CSR funds from third parties.
Previously Tabalong allocated Rp1,64 billion in the 2015 budget for the first phase construction of the modern fruit market with a building area of ??4,507 square meters.
With details of the first floor area of 1,189 square meters for the prayer room, parking area and public toilet and the second floor area of ??1,189 square meters for traders with a capacity of 50 stalls.
