Martapura, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Commander of District Military (Kodim) 1006/Martapura Lt Col Ade Putra Eka led his staff planting trees as part of community service or Karya Bakti TNI and Juang Kartini Day 2015 in Terminal Type A Km 17 Gambut subdistricts, Banjar Regency, Thursday.
1,006 trambesi trees, mahogany and gentawas planted. This activity was attended by acting Banjar regent represented by District Secretary H Nasrun shah, heads of SKPD, Banjar police, KONI, colleagues of Thousand Planting 12 Trees and H. Saidi Mansour.
Ade Putra Eka said tree planting to support the government programs in greening surrounding and residential neighborhood. Conservation of environment is the responsibility of all parties and should always be considered.
If this is ignored, he added, there will be environmental degradation due to pollution and environmental destruction.
To address this, Kodim 1006/Martapura and it ranks effort to manage the environment in a sustainable manner through the greening program.
"The program is expected to encourage the active participation of all parties in achieving sound way of looking at the environment and the creation of a healthy and sustainable environment," he explained.
