Labour Attache, Economic Section of the Embassy of Japan, Hiroki Sasaki, one of the participants of the Women of Twenty (W20) Meeting in Banjarmasin, expressed his admiration when witnessing the Bakut Island Nature Tourism Park (TWA) in Barito Kuala (Batola) District, Thursday, March 24, 2022, morning.

He suggested that these endangered species should be well maintained so that they can reproduce and safe from extinction.
"The existence of this Bakut Island tourist attraction is quite potential and should be maintained properly, so that the population of rare proboscis monkeys continues to grow," he said in English.
City Tour to Pulau Bakut attraction is one of the series of activities of the Women of Twenty (W20) in South Kalimantan.

Using six buses, the 65 delegates arrived at the Barito Bridge area at around 06.30 WITA (Central Indonesia Time).
The group, which were almost all women, was welcomed by the Regent, who is also a woman, Hj Noormiliyani AS.
The atmosphere became warm, they immediately became close and hugged each other and took pictures to make the W20 event from the G20 series like a tit for tat.
Before heading to TWA Bakut Island using several boats, the delegates were treated to a welcome dance typical of Batola 'Mahelat Lebo' and sasirangan scarfs put around their necks.
Then the group was invited to cross to TWA Bakut Island together.
The group was welcome to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the island in which there are various potential flora and fauna, especially the proboscis monkey (Nasalis Larvatus), an endemic animal to Kalimantan and the mascot of South Kalimantan.
