The Tanah Bumbu Environmental Agency (DLH) has carried out environmental care and culture movement as well as fostering schools towards environmentally cultured schools (Adiwiyata).
Head of the agency Mahriadi Noor through Policy Analyst Functional Officer Siti Fatimah here on Monday said that the guiding of adiwiyata schools started with 13 schools as prospective district Adiwiyata schools (CSAK).
The coaching took place from mid-January to early February 2022. As a result, all target schools have been guided, from Hilir Sub-district, to several other sub-districts, namely Batulicin, Sungai Loban, Satui, Kusan Hulu, and Teluk Kepayang.

The material provided was in the form of repairing the Adiwiyata evidence folder, which had been checked by DLH to be repaired by the schools, as well as waste bank-based waste management at schools.
DLH provided advice covering six aspects, including sanitation and drainage hygiene, waste management, tree planting and maintenance, water conservation, energy conservation, and innovation.
According to her, the development of Adiwiyata schools was carried out in stages, starting from candidates to becoming district Adiwiyata schools (SAK), provincial Adiwiyata schools, and national Adiwiyata schools (SAN).
