The Regent of Tanah Bumbu H. Zairullah Azhar invited his residents, especially Muslim, to keep performing the five daily prayers to get closer to Allah Subhanahu WaTa'ala.

"In addition to getting closer to God, praying five times a day will also prevent us from evil deeds," said H. Zairullah Azhar in Batulicin, Sunday.

He said after performing the five daily prayer, let's take the time to read the holy Al-Qur'an.

"Be careful, don't let TV and cellphone entertainment will make us negligent of our obligation to the Creator. Eventually our prayer and reading Al-Qur'an are pawned," he said.

Not only that, in order that we can carry out our deeds ofworship rightfully and in accordance with the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam then take time to attend the assembly of religious knowledge.

According to him, by frequently attending and listening to the religious knowledge will discover many benefits.

You will be reminded about yourselves to worship and doing good deeds, increasing faith and piety, sharpening memory and concentration and improving friendship.

"We advise all Muslim in Tanah Bumbu, both officials and the general public, not to leave the five daily prayer. Thank goodness if you can add with sunnah prayer," said Zairullah.
