Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Balangan Police arrested two men suspected as carriers of more than one thousand G-class illegal drugs.


"Those we caught while conducting a joint raids on society disease. The raid involved narcotics unit, criminal investigation unit, intelligence unit, and community development (Binmas) staffs in Operasi Intan 2015," said Chief of Balangan Sabhara Police AKP Tukiman on Saturday.

The raid was carried out on Friday (23/4) night around 22:00. The activity lasted for three hours in the Sub-district of Paringin up to the border of Balangan-Tabalong.

"From both perpetrators secured 225 tablets of G-class Carnophen and 1,010 types of Dextrometrophan and a cash money Rp25 thousand," said Head of Balangan Police Public Relations Aiptu Pektrus B.

Both actors have been named as suspects charged under article 197 jo 196 of Law No. 36 Year 2009 on Health, under penalty of five years in prison.

District Police not only arrested the two men carrying more than a thousand pills a G-class drug, but also seven misdemeanor offenders (Tipiring) for not carrying identity cards (KTP).
