The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) has readied additional 2022 Mandalika MotoGP ticket packages that are bundled with accommodation and flight tickets to and from Mandalika, Central Lombok District, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province.


"It aims to respond to the needs of prospective spectators keen to watch the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP," Deputy President Director of MGPA Cahyadi Wanda noted in a written statement here on Thursday.

Wanda gauged the high level of interest among racing enthusiasts to watch the event. Hence, MGPA has cooperated with several parties to provide accommodation.

"Several state-owned enterprises, including PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (Persero), PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, and PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, are currently developing several ticket bundling schemes for the 2022 MotoGP spectators," he remarked.

The MGPA deputy president director revealed that the accommodations provided are five-star hotels as well as several homestays and residences renovated by the Public Works and Public Housing Ministry in various tourist villages across Lombok Island.

Additional flights will operate from Soekarno Hatta Airport in Jakarta, Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, and Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar to Lombok International Airport and vice versa to improve accessibility to the racing venue.

"Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure against an increase in accommodation demand, we are finalizing the concept of establishing a camping ground in the West and East zones of the Mandalika area," Wanda stated.

The camping ground will be located at the Kuta Beach Park in the West Zone as well as around the Batu Kotak Cave and Tanjung Aan Beach in the East Zone.

The cave and beach area were chosen as a camping ground since they are strategic, safe, and accessible.

Furthermore, the MGPA deputy president director remarked that the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP tickets being sold in various categories comprised General Admission, Standard Grandstand, and Premium Grandstand.

The motorcycle racing event will be held on March 18-20, 2022.
