Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin physical development is still no clarity eventhough groundbreaking has been done.

General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I Syamsudin Noor Airport Handy H on Tuesday could not answer and confirmed when the construction for the expansion of the airport will begin.

"We still do not know when it starts due to land acquisition is not yet complete," he said after a coordination meeting here. The meeting attended by officials such as South Kalimantan Regional Secretary Arsyadi, Acting Mayor Martinus and Chairman of DPRD AR Iwansyah is to follow-up acceleration of land acquisition.

Handy stated, until now there has been no auction winner over airport development projects which calculated to cost Rp2.3 trillion.

"Actually there are nine partner or contractor to bid for the project, but they asked for the land is not problematic (clean and clear)," he said.

The area to be acquired for the development 101.1 hectares consists of community land 96.18 hectares and 4.94 hectares of public facilities. The fields have been acquired 769.136 square meters land owned by community and 192.686 hectares has not been released.

"For land has not been released, the funds deposited via consigment at Banjarbaru District Court and people who do not take funds yet can withdraw," he said.

The problems are society would not accept money, because they do not agree on the price or only partially land compensated.
