Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Minister of Finance Bambang PS Brojonegoro rewarded the Government of Tanah Laut with Unqualified Opinion on its 2014 Financial Statements.
"The award was directly handed over by the Finance Minister and witnessed by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution," said Regent Tanah Laut Bambang Alamsyah in Pelaihari on Sunday.
According to him, the success of Tanah Laut winning Unqualified Opinion (WTP) is for the second time in a row. This, he explained, is the hard work of the district along with local work units (SKPD) to achieve better financial management, transparency and accountability.
As a gratitude for this success, he said, it is necessary to be conveyed to society of Tanah Laut for financial management in accordance with the expectations of the central government.
"The award recipients in 2015 were 62 ministries or agencies, 26 provincial governments, 149 district governments and 50 municipalities," he said.
