Until Thursday (Dec 30, 2021), based on data from the Health Agency of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) District, the vaccination rate achievement has exceeded the target of 70 percent in an effort to accelerate vaccination in districts and cities nationally.
The massive efforts made by HSS government together with all relevant parties have received broad support from the people who want to be vaccinated, and to bring the vaccination service closer, the officers also direclty pick up the ball, by visiting resident's houses.
"The calculation of the report data has not been fully entered for today, but it has entered the figure of 72.35 percent," said Head of Health Service (Yankes) of the Health Agency Daru Priyanto in Kandangan.
Data from the Health Office until Wednesaday (Dec 29) showed of the 179.527 targets of COVID-19 vaccination in HSS more than 70 percent have been covered.
The first dose was 127,854 people or 71.22 percent, the second dose 68,331 people or 38.05 percent, and the third dose 1,539 or 86.41 percent.
Previously, HSS Regent H Achmad Fikry said that people should not be careless and ignore the health protocols, whereas the President had advised that even though they have been vaccinated twice, never take off their masks. The key word is the vaccine remains and the mask should not be removed.
“Insya Allah (God Willing) if the vaccination reaches 70 percent, we will draw the prizes as we promised with the grand prize of three motorbikes in early January 2022 , it could be on the 1st or 2nd,” he said.
The HSS government continues to make efforts to accelerate vaccination, including by providing motorcycle prizes and various other door prizes such as bicycle, refrigerator, washing machine, gas stoves, and others.
